Al-Arabs International Magazine in its tenth edition, El Shorafa Elhamadi issues the letter of mercy… The Peace Message opens new horizons in Asia

The tenth edition of Al-Arabs International Magazine has been issued by Al-Arabs Centre for Studies and Research. It carries an intellectual, cultural, and wide-ranging file reflecting the magazine’s orientation towards international openness and the enhancement of enlightenment and the message of peace through multilingual content and extended reports that monitor intellectual and academic transformations in the Arab World, Asia, and Africa.

The edition was opened by the intellectual Ali Mohamed El Shorafa Elhamadi with an article entitled: “And We have not sent you, [O Muhammad], except as a mercy to the worlds.” It tackled the great objective of the divine messages, affirming that Allah – Glorified and Exalted be He – sent His prophets and messengers to guide humanity to the path of goodness and to build societies where security, peace, justice, and solidarity prevail, away from hatred, violence, and conflict.

El Shorafa Elhamadi affirmed in his editorial that the true divine message came to preserve human dignity, protect human rights, and entrench the values of mercy, equality, and cooperation, indicating that the Peace Message represents a comprehensive Qur’anic methodology calling for building humanity and reviving shared humanitarian values. He emphasized that fanaticism and claims of superiority represent a deviation from the essence of divine messages, which called for human unity and respect for human dignity.

He clarified that true peace begins within the human being through liberation from illusions, rejection of fanaticism, and openness to dialogue, calling for activating the values of the Holy Qur’an in daily life to build coherent societies where the voice of reason rises above the voice of hatred and division.

He concluded his editorial by stressing that achieving peace will not happen unless we protect human rights, respect justice and freedom, and work on spreading the values of mercy and cooperation among nations.

The edition reflected the international nature of the magazine through its publication in different languages including English, French, Spanish, and Swahili, in a step aimed at conveying the cultural and Arab intellectual discourse to an international audience and strengthening bridges of cultural communication among different cultures. It also included a number of extended translations of its main topics, which confirms the magazine’s orientation towards international presence and openness to non-Arab societies.

In a main file entitled “Peace Message opens a new chapter in Asia,” the magazine presented the details of the Asian tour of the delegation of the Universal Message Peace Foundation in Indonesia and Malaysia. It was described as one of the most prominent Arab intellectual movements toward East Asia. The delegation was headed by journalist Magdy Tantawy, the General Manager of the foundation, with the participation of an elite group of academics and media professionals, including an intellectual project aimed at re-presenting the Islamic discourse in its comprehensive Qur’anic form.

The report monitored the scale of official and popular reception of the delegation in Indonesia. Lampung witnessed a high-level official reception with the presence of academics and security officials, alongside popular and cultural welcoming ceremonies.

The report also showed scenes of the students’ reception in institutions and universities and the strong engagement with the ideas of El Shorafa Elhamadi, especially in the symposium that discussed the role of the Holy Qur’an in entrenching the values of peace and coexistence.

The file addressed the signing of a strategic memorandum of understanding with Maulana Malik Ibrahim State Islamic University Malang, aiming at enhancing scientific research and the teaching of Arabic and Qur’anic studies, as well as inaugurating the El Shorafa Elhamadi Center for Qur’anic and Arabic Studies inside the university, considering it a new academic platform to spread moderate Qur’anic thought.

The report also mentioned the allocation of about 80 feddans for the Peace Message Foundation to establish a center and institute for Qur’anic studies in Indonesia, describing it as a qualitative leap in the path of cultural and academic cooperation between the two sides.

The report emphasized that the tour opened new horizons for spreading the true Islam in Asia and strengthened the international presence of the Peace Message as a humanitarian project that transcends geographical borders and is based on the values of tolerance and cultural dialogue.

In the academic context, the edition allocated an extended report on Sadat Academy for Management Sciences entitled “Academic active diplomacy and flexibility in facing challenges.” It addressed the most prominent activities of the academy during April 2026, reflecting an orientation towards international openness and the development of education and modern administration systems.

The report highlighted the meeting between the head of the academy and the Colombian ambassador in Cairo, where they discussed prospects for scientific cooperation and international training for students, in addition to supporting the Spanish Department and enhancing the concept of “cross-border education.”

The report also presented the launch of the academy’s annual scientific conference entitled “Smart Administration in the Era of Knowledge,” which aims to reformulate administrative thinking in line with digital transformation and the knowledge economy.

It also addressed the academy’s success in activating the hybrid education system, which combines face-to-face learning and distance learning, reflecting a vision aimed at achieving flexibility and educational sustainability, in addition to launching an initiative to survey top graduates and holders of master’s and PhD degrees to support development plans and build a database of human competencies.

The edition also tackled international issues, including an analytical study entitled “Between War and Peace: Africa Stuck between the Turmoil of Truces and Conflicts over Commercial Maritime Corridors, especially in the Red Sea zone and the Horn of Africa,” warning of the repercussions of conflicts on the future of development and stability in the continent.

It concluded by referring to the “By Awareness” program broadcast on Voice of the Arabs (Sawt Al-Arab) Radio, considering it a media platform that seeks to spread awareness and enhance enlightened thinking under the slogan: “By Awareness we build… By Awareness we understand and realize… and by Awareness we progress and stabilize.”
