The twelfth issue of the magazine “Al-Arab International” documents a new start for the thought of peace from Europe and celebrates the anniversary of the June 30 revolution.

The Arab Center for Research and Studies issued the twelfth issue of the magazine “Al-Arab International”, which includes topics in English, French, Swahili and Spanish, including a special file that monitors the activities of the visit of the delegation of Universal Peace Message Foundation to the Italian city of Milano, and what it witnessed from an international peace conference, meetings with religious leaders and civil society institutions, and cultural and intellectual partnerships aimed at spreading the values of dialogue and coexistence and enhancing the presence of the intellectual project of the Arab thinker Ali Mohamed Al-Shorafa Al-Hammadi on the European scene.
The issue began with an article by the thinker Ali Mohamad Al-Shorafa Al-Hammadi entitled “30 June..Saving Egyptian Identity and Restoring the Homeland”, in which he addressed the June 30 Revolution as a milestone in modern Egyptian history, stressing that it represented a milestone moment in protecting the national state, preserving Egyptian identity, and restoring the path of the homeland. The article also reviewed an intellectual vision about Egypt’s civilizational position and its historical role in consolidating the values of justice, peace, and coexistence.

In its main file, the issue provided extensive coverage of the visit of the delegation of the Universal Peace Message Foundation to Italy, where the delegation participated in an international peace conference hosted by the city of Corsico, Milano, in the presence of religious and intellectual leaders from Egypt and Italy, as part of efforts to promote interreligious and intercultural dialogue.
The magazine highlighted the speech of the thinker Ali Mohamed Al-Shorafa Al-Hammadi, delivered on his behalf by the researcher Mohamed Fathi Al-Sharif, entitled “The Divine Charter for the Protection of the Family and the Prevention of Disintegration”, which stressed that building the family on affection, compassion, and tolerance represents the real entrance to achieving societal security and consolidating the culture of peace.

The issue also reviewed the speech of Pastor Girgis Awad, Secretary-General of Universal Peace Message Foundation, during which he called for the rehabilitation of human values in the face of the escalation of wars and conflicts, stressing that the world’s crisis lies in the absence of conscience more than the lack of knowledge or potential, and that true peace begins with the human being before the institutions.
The issue also addressed the speech by researcher Mohamed Fathi Al-Sherif, who presented the approach of the Universal Peace Message Foundation, based on spreading the values of mercy, freedom, justice and peace through dialogue, education and correcting concepts, stressing that raising awareness is the first step toward building more stable and cohesive societies.
The magazine monitored the participation of Sheikh Muhammad Kamel Diab, imam and preacher of the “Ithar” Islamic Center, who stressed during the conference that the heavenly messages came to build bridges between humans, not to erect barriers, and called for strengthening cooperation between religious institutions in the service of community peace.

The issue also highlighted the results of the meetings held by the Foundation’s delegation with the officials of the “Ithar” Islamic Center in Corsico, which dealt with the prospects of cultural and intellectual cooperation, in addition to the Center’s dedication of a group of works by Ali Mohamed Al-Shorafa Al-Hammadi and the latest issues of the magazine “Al-Arab” in several languages, with the aim of making them available to the pioneers of the Center and promoting the spread of enlightened thought.
The issue concluded by documenting the praises received by the visit from the officials of the Foundation and its partners in Italy, stressing that the meetings and partnerships achieved represent a new step towards expanding the international presence of the Universal Peace Message Foundation and consolidating the culture of dialogue and coexistence among peoples, reflecting the magazine’s mission to combine thought, culture, and openness to the world.
