International Arabs Magazine Issues Its Second Edition Titled “The Prophet Was Sent to Enlighten the Paths of Humanity”

The Arab Center for Research and Studies has issued the second edition of the “International Arabs” magazine in September 2025. The magazine, published monthly from Cairo, continues its mission to enrich the Arab library with in-depth research and studies on the most prominent current intellectual and political issues. This edition included a collection of distinguished articles and visions from prominent writers and thinkers, foremost among them the great Arab thinker Ali Mohamed Al-Shurafa Al-Hammadi.
The Thinker Ali Mohamed Al-Shurafa Al-Hammadi: Religion Is Not Sectarianism
The cover of the issue featured an article by the great thinker Ali Mohamed Al-Shurafa Al-Hammadi, titled “The Prophet Was Sent to Enlighten the Paths of Humanity… and Sectarianism Destroyed Religion.” In this article, Al-Hammadi affirms that the main reason for losing the essence of Islam is sectarianism, which has transformed religion from a message of mercy, justice, freedom, and peace into a tool for excommunication, violence, and conflict. He points out that this deviation came under the guise of stories, lies, and “Israeliyyat” that were falsely attributed to the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who was not sent as a fighter, politician, or sectarian leader. He states that the Prophet’s mission was only to convey God’s message, enlighten the paths of humanity, and establish mercy.
The article reviews how the divine message was manipulated by “merchants of religion” who attributed to the Prophet what he did not say or do, and promoted hadiths that explicitly contradict the Quran. Al-Hammadi believes that this dangerous deviation from God’s command has distorted the Prophet’s image and stripped Islam of its Quranic mercy. He emphasizes that returning to the Quran is not an intellectual luxury, but an “existential necessity to save religion from the trap of the dark heritage.” Al-Hammadi concludes his article by affirming that liberating Islam from the hands of those who forged it, and acquitting the Prophet of the lies attributed to him, is not only a religious duty but “the beginning of a spiritual and intellectual renaissance.”
Intellectual and Political Issues at the Heart of the Issue
The issue was not limited to the deep intellectual discourse of the thinker Ali Mohamed Al-Shurafa Al-Hammadi, but also included other highly important topics. The writer Mohamed Fathy El Sherif, head of the center, presented an article titled “The Message of Peace Triumphs for Islam.” The article highlights the “Message of Peace” institution founded by Al-Hammadi a decade ago, which aims to spread enlightened thought that rejects division and conflict among Muslims and calls for a return to the correct divine approach.
In the field of education, Professor Dr. Mohamed Yahya Ghaida contributes an article titled “A Vision on Education and Learning.” The article reviews the radical transformations in the world and emphasizes that education is the fundamental axis that determines the path of nations. He calls for a reshaping of our vision of education, so that it transforms from a mere process of indoctrination into a journey of individual building. He believes that education should focus on critical thinking, problem-solving, and creativity, and that the student should transform from a passive recipient into an active participant and explorer of knowledge.
The magazine also tackled important international political issues, with Hany El Gamal, head of the European and American Studies Unit, writing an article titled “Alaska Summit… A Step Towards Engineering International Power.” The article discusses a hypothetical summit between Trump and Putin and its potential impact on the future of Europe and regional security. He points out that the summit could result in an agreement that could redraw the political map of the continent.
The issue also included an article on African affairs, written by Rami Zohdy, head of the African Studies Unit, under the title “In Sudan ‘It’s Daydreams’ – ‘The Rapid Support Forces Announce a ‘Government Without a State or Legitimacy’.”
