The great Arab thinker, Professor Ali Muhammad Al-Shurafa’a Al-Hammadi directed a question to those who say that the verses of the Holy Qur’an contain abrogater and abrogated, saying to them: God completed the message, and he said to His Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, during the Farewell Pilgrimage: (Today I have perfected your religion for you, completed My blessing upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion), by what logic do you, ignorant people, judge the message of Islam that it has an abrogater and abrogated? And God says (And the word of your Lord has been completed in truth and justice. There is no altering to His words, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.)?

The word of God has no copying, alteration, or removal because it is sacred, the statement is clear, and the rulings are from a knowledgeable expert, and what you talk about reflects your ignorance and your malicious intentions to create dangerous confusion among people in the Islamic faith. Creating confusion in faith

The ignorant have multiplied, and the unseen have created serious confusion in the Islamic faith without awareness and realization, that the Qur’an was not revealed by God Almighty except to His trustworthy Messenger, as He commissioned him to convey to people the verses of the Wise Remembrance to guide them to the path of truth, mercy, justice, and benevolence, and to spread peace among all human societies to achieve for them a decent life and livelihood, safe and happy, and God commanded His Messenger, specifying his responsibility to carry his message to people, as stated in the words of God Almighty: (O Prophet, we have sent you as a witness, a bearer of glad tidings, a warner, and a caller to God by His permission, an illuminating lamp, and give good tidings to the believers, for they have great bounty from God, and do not obey the disbelievers and the hypocrites, and forger their harm, and put your trust in God, and God suffices as an agent)

Surat (Al-Ahzab), verses (45-46-47-48).

Legislation is a divine right and the Messenger is an informer

The previous verses have set a clear road map for the trustworthy Messenger to follow in his call to people to enter Islam, and God advises His Messenger not to obey the unbelievers and hypocrites and adhere to His clear book so that people enter God’s religion as safe Muslims. You do not have the right to legislate from yourself and you do not have the right to add words to the verses of the Qur’an or to inform the people unless I have assigned it to you in the divine speech that I revealed to you, that is the task that you will inform the people of as follows:

The Qur’an guides to the straight path

(Just as We have sent you a Messenger from among you who recites to you Our verses and purifies you and teaches you the Book and wisdom and teaches you what you did not know)

Surat (Al-Baqarah), verse (151),

 The Messenger, peace be upon him, informs the people and shows them that the Qur’an, which God entrusted him with conveying to people, guides them to the path of truth and righteousness in His saying, Glory be to Him: (Indeed, this Qur’an guides to that which is most upright and gives glad tidings to the believers who do righteous deeds that they will have a great reward)

 Surat (Al-Israa), (verse 9).

Disobedience equals a life of dengue

God has warned people in the wise remembrance that God has given them a choice between two paths in the life of this world as follows:

 The first: (Whoever follows my guidance will not go astray or be miserable),

and the second: (And whoever turns away from My remembrance, then he will have a hard life, and on Doomsday We will gather him blind. I was perceptive, he said, Thus Our signs came to you, and you forgot them, and thus today you are forgotten.)

Surat (Taha), verses (124-125-126).

Doomsday scenes

Then God Almighty reminds us in one of the scenes Doomsday  in His saying, Glory be to Him: (Those who disbelieved will be driven to Hell in groups until, when they reach it, its gates will be opened, and its keepers will say to them, Did not messengers from among you come to you reciting to you the signs of your Lord and warning you of the meeting of this day of yours?, They said, Yes, but the word of torment is justified on the unbelievers.)

Surat (Al-Zumar), verse (71).

There is no abrogator or abrogated in the Qur’an

Then, after the Messenger, peace be upon him, informed the people of the verses of the Glorious Qur’an and warned them against violating God’s commands and sermons, and gave glad tidings to those who followed His signs of gardens of bliss and happiness in this world for those who applied God’s law and His method in their lives and were among the righteous, So with what logic do the ignorant people judge the message of Islam on the verses of the Wise Remembrance and slander against God that He, Glory be to Him, abrogated His verses and replaced them with other rulings in the verses of the Noble Qur’an after the death of the Messenger of God who was entrusted with the divine speech to inform the people of it, and despite the fact that the Messenger, peace be upon him, conveyed to all people in the Farewell Pilgrimage with the words of God  Glory be to Him:(Today I have perfected your religion for you, completed My blessing upon you, and have chosen for you Islam as your religion), God Almighty also confirms that His message to people in His saying, Glory be to Him, which the Messenger uttered in His tongue, is as follows:

The word of God was fulfilled in truth and justice

(And the word of your Lord has been completed in truth and justice. There is no altering His words, and He is the All-Hearing, the All-Knowing.)

Surat (Al-An’am), verse(115),

So how dare the criminals against the Holy Qur’an and judge some of its verses saying those verses are (abrogated), committing a heinous crime against God, so did God Almighty send down another book other than the Qur’an to some people after what God and the Messenger testified that God has completed His message and His word has been fulfilled with truth and justice?

God does not speak to them nor look at them on the Doomsday

So what will be the reward of the forgers on the Day of Judgment who disbelieved in His verses and transgressed against His rulings? Didn’t God Almighty warn them by saying: (Indeed, those who conceal what God has sent down of the Book and buy with it a small price, they will eat nothing in their bellies except fire. Allah will not speak to them on the Doomsday, nor will He purify them, and they will have a painful punishment.)

 Surat (Al-Baqara), verse (174).

Between the penalty for forgery in this world and the hereafter

If the judiciary in this world holds accountable those who forge in royal, presidential and princely decisions and judges him to commit a heinous crime for which he is tried by the criminal law, then what is the matter with people who do not understand that whoever commits the crime of forgery in the human world is considered a felony, so what will be the judgment of those who invent lies against God and conceal what  God sent down to His faithful Messenger a law, a methodology, acts of worship, and statutes that achieve human constant communication with the remembrance of God in their lives, so that they avoid what God has forbidden them and what He has forbidden them from, in order to live a good life.

The punishment of the slanderers is against God

Isn’t it time to prosecute everyone who comes with a fatwa of his own, relying on what the previous ones said in support of his fatwa and excluding the only reference for Islam, which is the Holy Quran?  And that every saying or fatwa that is not based on God’s book and its rulings is in the judgment of falsehood, and God will hold those who forged against God and denied His verses account with a hard account, and they will have Hell as their destination.

Those who invent lies against God

And God warned them more than fourteen centuries ago of the revelation of the Qur’an to the Messenger, peace be upon him, in His saying, Glory be to Him: (Say Those who fabricate a lie against God will not succeed)

Surat (Yunus), verse (69).

Hide therein, and do not speak to

Didn’t God, Glory be to Him, ask them by saying in a denunciatory form when He, the Most High, says:

(Were My verses not recited to you, and you used to deny them? They said, “Our Lord, our misery has overcome us, and we were a misguided people. Our Lord, remove us from it. If we go back, then we are wrongdoers.”, He said, “Be lost therein, and do not speak to me.”)

Surat (Al-Mu’minun), verses (105: 107)

That will be their reward on the Day when neither money nor children will benefit.
